Most known as Triluma cream , this compounded formula is used to treat hyperpigmentation and help reduce the appearance of dark spots associated with moderate-to-severe facial melasma and age spots. It works by synergistically decreasing the presence of hyperpigmentation and increasing cell turnover
Other benefits of Triluma include  reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, the lessening of acne, and the decrease appearance of scars and inflammation.

It is difficult to find a single commercialized cream that treats hyperpigmentation effectively. The active ingredients in this preparation work synergistically to decrease the presence of hyperpigmentation and increase cell turnover. This cream is formulated with 3 active ingredients in a hypoallergic cream base.
The formula most prescribed by physicians is Fluocinolone acetonide 0.01%, Hydroquinone 4% , Tretinoin 0.05% in a cream base and should be applied to affected area of the skin once a day at bedtime.

The base  Cream and is ideal for dermatological applications. It is a hypoallergenic cream that is not irritating to the skin and provides great moisture as it contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. It is not greasy or sticky and is unscented and – Free of alcohol, petrolatum, and oil. The Cream Base exhibits great moisturizing and penetration enhancing capabilities; it is highly absorbent and is specially designed with an emollient to help soften skin.

Hydroquinone is used for temporary bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions such as chloasma (melasma), freckles, and lentigines. is a depigmenting agent. Hydroquinone works by blocking the enzyme responsible for melanin formation in melanocytes.

Store this medication at room temperature and away from heat, moisture and light. Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Throw away any unused medicine after the beyond use date. Do not flush unused medications or pour down a sink or drain.
